Reel in the fun : The Back to School Fishing Competition

Get Ready for a Reel Good Time at the Back-to-School Fishing Competition!

The competition will be held at the Adventure Park’s fishing lake, and participants will be required to bring their own fishing gear.

Preparing for the Competition

To participate in the Back-to-School Fishing Competition, kids need to be at least 5 years old and accompanied by an adult. The competition will be held on the 1st and 2nd of February, and the registration deadline is January 25th. Kids can register online or in-person at the Adventure Park’s office. Key dates and times:

  • • Registration deadline: January 25th
  • • Competition dates: 1st and 2nd of February
  • • Competition time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Fishing Techniques and Rules

    The competition will be based on the catch-and-release method, where participants will be required to release their caught fish back into the lake. The fish species that can be caught and released are limited to trout and bass. Participants will be provided with a list of approved fishing gear and tackle. Approved fishing gear and tackle:

  • • Rods and reels
  • • Lures and bait
  • • Hooks and sinkers
  • • Fishing nets
  • Prohibited fishing gear and tackle:
    • • Live bait
    • • Artificial lures that resemble live bait
    • • Fishing nets
    • Safety Precautions

      The safety of participants is the top priority for the Adventure Park. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, participants are required to wear a life jacket while on the water. Additionally, participants are required to follow all safety instructions provided by the Adventure Park staff. Safety equipment:
