Murray State duo Sam Sutter and Shaden Farley took home first place in the men’s team division, and Pakanli Brock claimed her solo title in the women’s division. “Just coming back and seeing your family in the crowd and dropping a big bag at weigh in at one of your home ponds is pretty big for me,” Sutter said. “It still hasn’t completely set in yet, but knowing all of the hard work that I’ve put into this has an outcome, its really nice,” Brock added. Coach Owen says since winning the national championship, the team’s recruitment has really taken off, reeling in some top notch talent.
